3) All matching numbers car, odometer has 28,000 miles. Car runs great but needs total restoration. I have replaced the following to make car drive-able: water pump, gas tank, fuel pump, spark plugs, front and rear brake pads, radiator and a brake line kit. Owners 2&3 probably the same. Sold for $10,200 on December 6, 2017. 2) All matching numbers car, odometer has 28,000 miles. Car runs great but needs total restoration. I have replaced the following to make car drive-able: water pump, gas tank, fuel pump, spark plugs, front and rear brake pads, radiator and a brake line kit. Sold for $11,100 on November 20, 2017. 1) Just when you think there can't be any of these left. Up pops another one. This is a true rare find. 20,000 orig documented mile 1970 Corvette Conv that was going to be restored by the 2nd or 3 owner 30 years ago. Of course that never happened. He and his wife had purchased the car as a driver and then the water pump went out so he started tearing the car apart to start the restoration process. Sadly he recently passed away never having completed the car and we purchased it from the wife. We have most of the orig parts that would go with the car. This is an all numbers matching car with the orig 350-350 HP motor that does run strong. Believe it or not we put in a new battery, some fresh gas from a can and ran it for a few minutes. We found that it ran strong the tach and several other gauges worked as well as the radio. Again all hard to believe. The car started as a Maroon convertible with standard black interior. A racing stripe was added at some point along with a big block or LT-1 factory hood and rare western honeycomb wheels from the 70's. This car has a lazer straight never hit body with most of the orig paint. I thing all of the engine compartment pieces are there. Fan shroud and radiator. This car comes with the orig black vinyl interior and factory components, including seats, door panels, shifter. radio. Soft top only, but frame is good top is deteriorated and cracked and will need replaced. Drive train is all orig with all matching #'s. And yes this is a REAL 20,000 documented mileage car. Orig miles on title and odometer!!! Interior: The seats have no rips or tears and in very good condition. The door panels are almost like new. Carpet realy wasn't terrible but the back pieces was taken out. probable due to dampness. So the carpet will need to be replaced. But with new carpet a new soft top and with some cleaning the interior and top would be done. The rest of the car needs put back together and of course painted. But what you do to the car is your choice. But what an oppertunity to have such a correct car that runs and will be great low mileage car when completed. Car is worth what we are asking in parts alone. But if we had the time we would complete this car ourselves. This is yet another great find. Color codes from the trim plate. Assembly date is F29. $11,995. December 8, 2014. |
